AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON YOUR HOMEWORK:

  • There are assigned and practice problems.
  • The assigned problems need to be handed in class on the due date. Two of the problems will be graded as a "take-home" quiz. The lowest-scoring homework is dropped from the cummumalitve homework grade for the term.
  • If you do not care to hand in legible and organized homework, we will not care to give you a good grade.

    The numbering in the problem list below refers to Boyce and DiPrima, 9 Ed. You should start working on the exercises as soon as the corresponding topic is introduced in class.

    This is a link to a slope field generator. It is a CDF file from Mathematica.
    It will help you learn how to generate these slope field figures. You will need the CDF player from Mathematica (go to Wolfram's web site for this).
