§ 22.C: Converting LaTeX to HTML

To convert LaTeX to HTML, you use a utility called (not surprisingly) LaTeX2HTML. This utility is available on the Physics Cluster and can take an incredibly long time to run if you file is of even moderate size. If you are not working on the Physics Cluster, LaTeX2HTML can be obtained from Nikos Drakos .

To use LaTeX2HTML, simply type latex2html followed by the name of the file you wish to convert. LaTeX2HTML will then create a directory for your file, convert the text format to HTML and convert what cannot be written in HTML to gif format images
