Science Journal Articles/ Writing About Reading
Navigation Links
Several times throughout the course, the students read science journal articles. The articles that the students read reflect either the activities or the instructional strategies that the students are working with in Physics 111. Some of these articles are case studies, where students can compare and contrast their experiences with that of the teacher or students in the excerpt. Upon reading the articles, the students are typically asked to reflect on their understandings of the information and their own ideas. This is sometimes done through the integration of the reading strategies.
