  • 10/28:  Exam 1 will be Friday in class.  Please see the Exams link above to see coverage.
  • 10/9:  I have a Faculty Senate meeting today at 3, so will miss my regular office hour.  I will be in Weniger from 1 to 2; otherwise let me know of problems by email.
  • 10/7  I've reserved Gilbert 322 on Friday mornings.  I'll do a one hour review of the homework for anyone who shows up at 8, then we'll move to the regular lecture at 9.  
  • 10/2  I goofed and put an incorrect due date on Homework Set 1 (and 2 and 3).  This is not due until Friday, October 10.  The dates on the Homework Page are (and have been) correct.  (Sorry for inducing panic!!)  10/7 Current pages are updated and correct.

  • Dr. Carter has asked my to let Organic Chemistry students know about the Wednesday Evening literature seminars in Gilbert 324 (7:30 p.m. ).
  • Please note the Department Seminar schedule (usually Mondays at 4 p.m.) and the Organic Seminar schedule (Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.).
