(In Wngr 304 as usual).  Please be sure to have a material chosen, and to have attempted to run a DoS and a band structure.  Daniel and Prof. Schneider will have good ideas about things to calculate, and he knows everything about the computational details.  Take good advantage of this time. I added Andrew Stickel's tutorial to the Wien page (see the table of contents bar on upper right of the Wien 2k page to locate it.

-Andrew Stickel has created a Wien tutorial with images, which I have posted on the Wien help page on the class web site (look under "Running a Calculation"). He cautions that it is a work in progress, and you can email him at stickean@onid.orst.edu if something is unclear.  Or email me.  Thank you very much Andrew!

-The final exam is scheduled on Tuesday 06/11/2013 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm in WGR 304. To accommodate PH203 TAs in the class, the final will **also** be offered at 1-3 pm on that day. I would prefer that everyone take it then, but if you cannot, then 2-4 pm is OK. I have requested an alternative room for the final, and I am awaiting confirmation.  I will let you know. +The Physics department comp exam is on Monday 3/31/2014. There WILL be class on the day (there are undergraduates and students from other departments in the class, too) but we will use it to review material with which PH students will be quite familiar. A make-up class will be held Wednesday 2 April at 12-1 in Weniger 377.
