-The Physics department comp exam is on Friday 4/5/2013.  There WILL be class on the day (there are many students from other departments) but we will use it to review material with which PH students will be quite familiar.  A make-up class will be held MON 8 APRIL at 10am in Weniger 304.+{{:eqns14.pdf|Equation sheet for midterm}}.  You may add your own equations to this sheet (both sides - one page max).

-L3 lecture reloaded after class Friday - fixed typo on matrix slide. +On Wednesday 5/7 and Friday 5/9, JT will be out of town. Daniel Gruss will run a Wien help session, and Prof. Schneider, a band structure expert, will be available to answer questions for the last part of the class. (In Wngr 304 as usual).  Please be sure to have a material chosen, and to have attempted to run a DoS and a band structure.  Daniel and Prof. Schneider will have good ideas about things to calculate, and he knows everything about the computational details.  Take good advantage of this time. I added Andrew Stickel's tutorial to the Wien page (see the table of contents bar on upper right of the Wien 2k page to locate it.
