-Physics graduate students: The comp exam is to be held on the first Monday of class. Class WILL be held that day, but you are excused if you are taking the exam. There is a make-up lecture on Tuesday 3/29 at 7-8 pm in WGR 304. The material (atomic orbitals bra-ket notation) should be very familiar to physics students. Anyone can attend the make-up lecture. +

 +The comprehensive exam for physics graduate students overlaps PH575 class time on Monday 4/1. In the Monday 4/1 class, there will be a review of mathematical concepts used in the class that should not be necessary for the physics grads (though I will repeat the class upon request). Others should attend. The first "official" class is on Wednesday 4/3.
