-I reloaded L6.pdf after class today having fixed the axis problem on the molecular orbitals graphs.  I also added photos of Bloch and Brillouin for cultural interest+The equation sheet for MT 1 is {{:mt1_s12_eqns.pdf|here}}. Download, print and bring to exam with your notes on the front side.  The equation sheet on the exam will have at least this information, and I may decide to add more.

-Homework 2 is posted+Physics graduate students: The comp exam is to be held on the first Monday of class. Class WILL be held that day, but you are excused if you are taking the exam. There is a make-up lecture on Tuesday 4/3 at 7-8 pm in WGR 304. The material (atomic orbitals bra-ket notation) should be very familiar to physics students. Anyone can attend the make-up lecture.

-There is some difficulty accessing the pdf files from different browsers and different machines. It works from all macs. Works from a PC with Internet explorer but not with Firefox. As an interim fix, I have loaded the files onto Blackboard. Homework is under "assignments", lectures under "course content"
