Comments by Mary Bridget Kustusch (post-doc, teaching "Central Forces" Winter 2013):
I used the wrap-up as a way of extending the ideas that these students had seen in earlier courses related to the Kinesthetic Visualization of Complex Numbers. I had a group of students represent several points along the equator for different spherical harmonics. I also used this to highlight the importance of periodic boundary conditions by having them wrap around into a ring.
Something to change: because of the number of volunteers, the people weren't equally spaced, which made it more difficult for them and focused attention away from the points that I wanted to make.
