Welcome to Physics 111!

This course develops conceptual understanding through investigation of everyday phenomena.
Emphasis is on questioning, predicting, exploring, observing, discussing, reading, and writing in physical science contexts.
Students document their initial thinking, record their evolving understandings as they investigate physical phenomena, and write reflections upon how their thinking changed and what fostered their learning.

The students sit and work in groups of four.
