Learned: “I had a light bulb moment when I realized I could think in terms of variables.”
Wants to Know: “I would really like to use numbers to solve for different variables.”

Learned: “I still don't like math but other things are more understandable. I understood everything before the math.”
Wants to Know: “How on earth will I do this tonight… hopefully I can sort through the confusion and frustration and at least work through it.”

Student 3
Learned: “When things are not in variables I get confused but once I write it down and work it through I understand better.”
Wants to Know: “How much sense will this all make when I go home tonight?”
