The Instructional Strategy of Reflection
Fall 2009-Day 6

What did you learn? What are you still curious about?
I liked talking about the books. It's interesting to see what kind of books teachers pick for their students. I'm interested in how I will do on the midterm.
I learned exactly how to describe things for the midterm. What can we teach the kids and what can we learn from that?
I learned how to give book talks. How will the midterm turn out?
I learned how you can point out points that the kids are going to be interested in in book talks. How will next Thursday go? It seems like the kids have been watching the moon a lot.
I learned exactly what will be expected on the midterm. I'm curious how many questions will be on it.
I've heard of book talks before, but it was cool to do them in class. Many of the books were scientific, but some of them were story-like books. Which would be a better way to teach children the information?
Giving book talks is an art. I'm curious about how useful they will be in your future classrooms.
I may know more about mirrors than I thought I did. Am I going to have kids that know way more than I do?
