a The instructor must be a faculty
member
in the department of chemistry (professor or instructor rank). Research
credit for
research projects in other departments or off campus can be obtained in
two ways: 1) by
taking the appropriate 401 course in the other department (e.g., BI
401); 2) by taking CH
401 with liaison between external faculty or researchers and your
chemistry advisor as
specified in the external undergraduate research policy webpage.
Students who are away from campus may
copy and paste this form into a Word document and
then into an e-mail and send it to the appropriate instructor with
directions to forward
the form to the chemistry office.
