This is an interesting case. The "normal" structure shows complete octets at all atoms, though you can ide ntify the oxygen as a Lewis base because of the lone pairs. However, use of resonance reveals partial electro n deficiency at carbon:

The ESP map clearly shows the twin character of the C=O bond: Lewis acidic at C, Lewis basic at O.
