After finishing my undergraduate degree in Romania, I have moved to the US for my graduate and post-doctoral studies which took me to Texas, Indiana, and Virginia. I have started my job here in Oregon in 2011.
I specialize in partial differential equations and fluid dynamics. In particular, I am interested in the mathematical theory of Navier-Stokes and Euler equations and its connection to turbulence.
This term I am teaching MTH355 - Discrete Mathematics.
