Welcome to D2SI

The D2SI research institute pursues theoretical and computational research at the intersection of dynamics, learning systems, and big data.

The Leadership

Prof. Juan M. Restrepo (co-Director).
His research focuses on the application of statistical physics ideas to non-equilibrium dynamics, informed by data. Application areas include climate dynamics, ocean dynamics, ocean transport, social sciences, and ocean aoustics.
