THE VIRTUAL GEIGER COUNTER


You can create your own Geiger-counter sound by specifying the decay constant and the number of atoms at the beginning of the simulation. To keep the size of the soundfile and the amount of CPU time on our machine reasonable, I limited the number of atoms to 500 and the length of the soundfiles to 10 seconds.
Number of atoms (0..500):
Decay constant (0..1):
If you choose values outside the given range, you will get a default file for 100 atoms and a decay constant of 0.5
