Julie Foertsch (Ph.D), Project Area Leader for Educational Technology, received her
doctorate in cognitive psychology from the UW-Madision in 1996. Her work at LEAD has
focused on the use of computers and instructional technology in education and on issues of
equal opportunity for women and underrepresented minorities in higher education. She
brings to LEAD her expertise in the areas of psycholinguistics, survey construction,
quantitative research methods, and research design. CV
