VisAD:   Data Visualization with Java3D (CPUG)

VisAd comes from the Space Science and Engineering Center of the University of Wisconsin, and is the work of Bill Hibbard. The SSEC project "focuses on making advanced visualization techniques useful to scientists in their daily work... by making two scientific visualization systems, named Vis5D and VisAD, freely available over the Internet".
