Temperature correction spreadsheet files (shift-left click to download). Save the file to the hard drive or other media and work from there once you have downloaded the correction file. Each file is names with the serial number of each thermometer. There is an assigned thermometer for each Calorimeter system so make sure that you are using the correct thermometer correction table for your system!

The thermometers you use are calibrated on the assumption that the entire mercury column is submerged in the liquid. Since you do not do this, contraction of the glass between the surface of the water bath and the top of the mercury introduces a systematic error. Proper use of the T correction in these files will remove that error.
