<li> <b><blink><font color=red> The final exam will be in class on Wednesday December 7, not
  in the final exam week.</font></blink></b> <br>


<li> We will have a review session in class on the material for Exam I on Friday 9/16.
  The purpose of this review is that you ask me questions on anything you have trouble understanding, both
  theoretically and practically. Do not expect a sample exam. In fact, do not expect me to lecture at all.
  you will decide what we discuss during this class. So please, prepare accordingly.<br>


<li> Exam I is on Monday 9/19 in class. Calculators are not allowed or needed, and the exam 
is closed book. It covers everything discussed in class, including Sec 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.2, 2.3,
  2.4 and 3.2 (<b>there was a typo here previously saying section 3.1; of course this is not possible
  since we skipped that section</b>)<br>

 <li> Exam II is on Friday 10/28 in class. The format is the same as for Exam I.
  It covers everything discussed in class, including Sec 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6.<br>  

  <li> We agreed in class to have the review session for Exam II on Wednesday 10/26. The format of this review is
  the same as for Exam I, see above.<br>


<li> Exam III is in class on Monday 11/28, and covers what we saw in class about section 7.1 to 7.6. The review session 
for Exam III is on Monday 11/21. Both the format of the review and of the exam is the same as before.<br>

<li> The final exam is on Wednesday December 7 in class. It covers sec 7.7, 7.8, 7.9 and 5.2 and 5.4.
