Isoheights of Surfaces: Instructor's Guide

- Surface and corresponding topographic map
- Expo dry erase marker
Activity: Introduction
Students are prompted to begin this activity by drawing lines of “isoheight” on their surfaces. At this point students do not have the topographic map which corresponds to their surface, so this task should be straightforward. Next, students are given the maps and asked to line up their lines of “isoheight” with the map.
