====== Prerequisites for the Rubber Band Lab ======

Before performing this lab, students should:

  * Have the ability to relate the first thermodynamic law and the thermodynamic identity.
  * Be able to interpret partial derivatives.
  * Be able to understand and use the symmetry of mixed partials.
  * Know how to derive Maxwell's relations using the symmetry of mixed partials.
