Students work in small group to explore how two quantum states and measurement probabilities evolve with time.

Reasons to spend class time on the activity

Students need practice solving for the time dependence of quantum states and probabilities. There are several cases students should be familiar with both stationary and non-stationary states and understand what makes a state stationary.
