Today I modeled a book talk using the book “Why the Sun and the Moon Live in the Sky” by Elphinstone Dayrell. Since we were running out of time I wasn't able to read the entire book to the class. Instead I summarized the books and showed a few of the pictures. I then talked about how book talks are useful for teachers because it allows them to use their resources such as the public and school library.
