9:35-9:50	Defining literacy\\
What does the phrase ‘literacy learning’ mean?  Draw and describe examples.\\
(Students likely will think about reading and writing.  Encourage some to think about speaking and listening as well.  Also critiquing and creating media resources.)\\
Assign each group a task to draw and write:\\ 
Group 1: Speaking and listening\\
Group 2: writing\\
Group 3: reading\\
Group 4: creating media, critiquing media\\

9:50-10:30	Finishing thermal websites\\
Each small group works on laptop computer to upload a photo for each day (Days 5, 6, 7, and 8) and write the relevant powerful ideas developed for that day\\
