Exploring Thermal Phenomena

Each group first mixed 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup hot water and observed their graphs. They noticed that the graphs for hot and cold water met right in the middle of both of the previous temperatures after being mixed.

Next, each group mixed a set amount of water and observed graphs:
Groups 1 and 2 mixed 1/4 cup hot water and 3/4 cup cold water.


Groups 3 and 4 mixed 1/4 cup cold water and 3/4 cup hot water.
