Toni Doolen
Toni Doolen is Professor in the school of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering. She is also the Associate Dean of the OSU Honors College and the Associate Head for Undergraduate programs within the school of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at OSU. Her curriculum development interests are collaborative and active learning techniques, which can be used in traditional classroom settings and with both small and large class sizes. She has studied the impact of collaborative and active learning activities, which incorporate technology as well as those that use simple office supplies. Watching students and student groups complete activities often provides insight into what students do not understand. These activities also provide students with immediate feedback about what they need to spend time on.
