Analysis of Selenium in Brazil Nuts. Joshua Albus.  2005.

Abstract:

The amount of Selenium in Brazil nuts was analyzed using ICP-AES after microwave digestion of the samples. The micrograms of Selenium per gram of nut were 1.84 + .52 µg/g. This result compared very well with a pervious experiment in the University of Cincinnati (U of C); percent error was 8.00%.
