| Students build their own UV spectrophotometer for the purpose of measuring enzyme rates as a function of ethanol concentration making use of the alcohol dehydrogenase-NAD+ couple. They determined the percent alcohol in a typical micro brew and also BAL in a blood sample (horse). | ||
