Gunnar Resch studied Chemistry at Oregon State University. Gunnar was born in Portland, Oregon and went to school there until graduating and decided to come to OSU. Starting out as a physics major, after a couple terms of required chemistry Gunnar decided to switch his major and seek out research positions. While in the BRG, Gunnar worked on the synthesis of 13C-labeled 24-methylenecholesterol.
