Kylee B. Nelson (Undergraduate Research Assistant) [2024 –2025]
Kylee Nelson was born in Portland, Oregon in 2004. She is enrolled at Oregon State University as a Biology/Pre-Med major with a minor in Chemistry. Kylee joined the Blakemore Research Group in September 2024 and she explored the synthesis of novel ferrocenyl xanthone systems and investigated their physical and spectroscopic properties. Outside of school and chemistry, Kylee was on the Oregon State track and field team from 2022-2024 and specialized in sprints and hurdles. She also enjoys skiing and cooking in her free time.
