Kyoungyim Lee is a South Korean citizen and she obtained a BS degree in Fine Chemistry from Seoul National University of Technology. Kyoungyim went on to secure an MS degree from the same institution (in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Chemistry) before coming to the US in 2009 to commence further study at OSU. While in the BRG she researched new applications for unsaturated carbenoids in StReCH chemistry directed toward the synthesis of biologically active natural terpenoids.
