Amanda Hoyt (Graduate Research Assistant) [2011 - 2014]

Amanda Hoyt was born and raised in Arizona. She obtained a BS degree from North Arizona University and undertook an internship at the Dept. of Public Safety & Crime Laboratory in Phoenix. Amanda's MS thesis research at OSU was focused on elucidating the true nature of the active carbenoid intermediate involved in StReCH reactions utilizing alpha-chloroalkylsulfoxides and initiated by organolithiums.

When away from the laboratory, Amanda enjoys playing MMORPGs, metal smithing, and practicing martial arts.
