Research Area:

Work in the laboratory focuses on 1) genomics of environmentally relevant microorganisms, 2) biochemistry, physiology and molecular biology of nitrification, 3) biochemistry and molecular biology of butane utilization by bacteria; 4) gas-utilizing metalloenzymes, and 4) bioremediation, especially as it pertains to the enzymology and physiology associated with cometabolism of chlorinated solvents.
